Master of Law in International Commercial Law

Program Overview

In a world slowly emerging from the Covid-19 pandemic and facing the challenges of nationalism, protectionism, trade wars – students of the International Commercial Law LLM find their importance for the market and for society reaffirmed as never before. International flows of trade and investment are crucial for the development of the countries and regions, especially in moments of crises. In a world recovering from one of the worst economic crises in history, the future brings many exciting opportunities for the students of the International Commercial Law LLM programme.

In this programme, students will learn from a range of core and optative modules such as international investment law, international trade law, international disputes resolution, international taxation law, private international law of business transactions, international sales of goods, comparative corporate law, competition law and intellectual property law. Many other options are available, including from our world-leading Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law & Policy (CEPMLP). Students will have the opportunity to engage critically with each topic of study, paying attention to the impact of the law and institutions on society.
