This degree immerses you in the social, political, cultural and economic contexts of childhood and youth in contemporary society. You will explore the development of children and youth as both a field of academic study and a focus for future employability. This is balanced with the analysis of social trends and the study of sociological developments and phenomena in cultural, political and historical contexts, achieved through a focus on social structures, institutions, orthodoxies, processes, organisations and groups we live our lives within.
