The Resort and Casino Management major at Lasell have a professional focus, rooted in Connected Learning, that seeks to educate students by promoting self-expression, academic exploration and critical thinking in academic, civic, and career-relevant areas.
With the Casino and Resort Management degree program, students are given a comprehensive background in the business, including accounting, human resources, organisational behavior, technology, marketing, and more, and then learn about the inner workings of the resort and casino industry including lodging, food and beverage, service quality, facility operations, casino regulations, security, gaming operations, resort development and technology.
The Hospitality Program at Lasell includes the Hospitality Management, Event Management, and Resort and Casino Management majors.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
