If you’d like to understand the structure and function of the nervous system, Neuroscience is the course for you.

To understand the properties of neurons and neural networks, Neuroscience combines subjects such as:

Anatomy
Molecular biology
Developmental biology
Mathematical modelling.

You’ll learn from a community of experts in Sussex Neuroscience, which represents over 50 research groups. Specialisms include the neurobiology of neurodegenerative disease, and motor control and sensory systems.
