The Audio Engineering and Music Production certificate is a 730-hour program that trains individuals to work in various technical positions such as recording arts, music, theatre, concerts, broadcasting, video and film. The program develops skills required to operate digital and analog audio recording, programming and processing equipment. The course content provides a foundation in the principles of hearing, sound, music, basic electronics, processing, signal flow, microphone techniques, mixing and mastering, live sound engineering, and reviews current industry standards.
