Master of Science in Global Biodiversity Conservation

Program Overview

This MSc will give you advanced knowledge and skills in conservation biology.

Our campus is in the Brighton and Lewes Downs UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and surrounded by the South Downs National Park. Here you’ll gain an advanced, global outlook on conservation and will be ready to help solve the challenges of change in the modern world.

Learn about the positive approaches conservation biologists use to address conservation challenges, and have the chance to take part in unique research in the field.

We are part of the Sussex Sustainability Research Programme (SSRP). This provides an excellent interdisciplinary research environment spanning the School of Life Sciences, the School of Global Studies, Sussex Law School, SPRU – Science Policy Research Unit and the Institute of Developmental Studies.
