Scholarships for International Students
There is no additional application required to apply for an international scholarship. By submitting the international application, undergraduate and transfer students are automatically considered for a scholarship. Students sponsored by their government will not be considered for scholarships.

International Undergraduate Scholarships
Fontbonne University offers merit-based scholarships to academically talented, F1 visa holding, undergraduate (bachelor’s degree) international applicants. The scholarship amount is applied to the student’s account in two equal installments in the fall and spring semesters. Scholarships are renewable each year, but students must maintain the minimum grade point average stated on the scholarship contract.
Scholarships for First-Time Freshmen
All scholarships are determined based on the student’s GPA, English scores and standardized test scores, if applicable. The following scholarships are available:

Students without the equivalent of an Associate’s Degree qualify for the following scholarships.
Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
