Program Overview

This program aims to train operational level project managers who have to plan, organize, coordinate and monitor projects carried out by internal or external resources. The apprenticeships are oriented towards the application of project management techniques to allow graduates to master the progress of their projects and improve their ability to meet the requirements of their customers imposing strong constraints of deadlines, costs and technical performance.

The specific objectives of the program are to develop skills and abilities in the person that will make them capable of:

  • Properly define a project to meet the requirements and constraints, and organize a project into controllable elements;
  • Sizing requirements, controlling the economic dimension in design and creating value in projects;
  • Determine, assess and manage the risks of a project;
  • Manage priorities, deadlines, work peaks and quantitative resource conflicts in a multi-project and matrix environment;
  • Facilitate the allocation and coordination of human and material resources, and maximize their use;
  • Effectively manage a project team;
  • Manage performance and control deadlines in a multi-project context;
  • Make realistic cost estimates, and track costs and variances against budget;
  • Plan purchases and manage subcontractors, suppliers and interfaces;
  • Effectively administer contracts.
