Program Overview

The Industrial Instrumentation and Process Control Technician program provides a foundation in the industrial instrumentation trade. This program emphasizes practical, hands-on experience in applying, installing, repairing, calibrating, and tuning measurement and control instruments used in industrial manufacturing processes.


The program

Students in this program will:

  • Install and maintain field instruments that are part of large-scale manufacturing systems. These instruments may be digital, electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic devices.
  • Learn to program computerized controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that preform the required function within the manufacturing.

Half of the programs duration is dedicated to hands-on activities using industry-standard equipment, ensuring graduates are job-ready for various related fields.
